- Abstract
- Problems of accurate manuscript dating by the spectrophotometry method in infrared range and of matching of reflectance spectra of ink with the ones related to handwritten materials with known dates are considered. The advantage of this method is in its non-destructive character due to optical radiation of small intensity, which does not alter properties and condition of the material under study. The conducted experiments proved useful in establishing similarity and distinctions of freestanding fragments of F.M. Dostoevsky's manuscripts.
