- Abstract
- The author examines the part that pictorial images play in Friedrich Schiller's dramas focusing on how correspondences and interaction between different fields of art that were characteristic of the 1780s manifest themselves in literary texts. Comparison between Schiller's work and that of his fellow artists practicing different kinds of art allows to see a certain accord between them as well as features common to them all.
