- Abstract
- The article analyzes the linguistic and extra-linguistic causes of transposing of the Russian participles into ambiguous word-forms; namely, into semantic-syntactical predicatives. The article sets forth a classification scheme for ordering the most frequently acknowledged types of predicatives, which are formed in the process of functional and functional-semantic predication involving participles. We also consider mechanisms of interaction between different parts of speech within the structure of verb forms, which might undergo categorial transposition.
