- Abstract
- The article discusses the temporal power and the life of the Court in Germany of the first half of the 17 th century, as well as their representation in the socio-critical epigrams by the classic German poet Friedrich von Logau (1605–1655). The poet’s views on these issues are accounted for and put into Enlightenment classicist and Christian perspective.
