- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the development of the sermon in the Italian language. It is focused on the work of the early 14th century preacher Giordano da Pisa and shows how the influence of Latin models was overcome and how the latter were adapted to a different cultural situation that confronted the preacher with new tasks.
