- Abstract
- The author of the article analyzes literary and biographical facts related to issues of the authorship, addressee, and dating of the poem “Of love, and hope, and quiet glory…” usually published under the title “To Chaadayev”, dated 1818 and attributed unequivocally to Alexander Pushkin. However, the sources available now show that this practice can hardly be recognized as either the only correct or the most substantiated one.
