- Abstract
- The article discusses methods of etymologizing the Finno-Ugric toponyms on the Pomor territory in the Arkhangelsk region. To learn the meaning of the Finno-Ugric place names, we suggest using the regular semantic models of the Russian-language toponymy. The felicity of this approach is amply illustrated.
