Abstract
This article aspires to show through what changes the attitude of the democratic Paraguayan governments (from 1989 up to now) toward the “triple frontier” phenomenon has been passing. The general evolution of the phenomenon is observed as well. In 20th century Paraguayan policy had a significant impact on the “triple frontier” threats formation, so its power, legal, social initiatives to stabilize this zone are of special interest.
