Abstract
In the article the policy of conservatives concerning colonies in Africa is in detail analyzed. As its spokesman acted the Prime Minister Mr. Macmillan who in 1960 has visited the continent and has made in parliament of the Southern African Union the speech which has become history as “the speech about a wind of change”.
