- Abstract
- In the article, the traditional epistemological and methodological problem of the specifics of social and humanitarian Sciences is considered on the example of the question of the applicability of "mathematical tools" to the analysis and description of the phenomena of social life. The characteristic features of "nomotetic constructions" created in theoretical sociology highlights, in the author's opinion, the limited prospects for the mathematization of sociological knowledge.
