- Abstract
- The article describes the peculiarities of coverage of P. A. Sorokin's sociological heritage in the United States. Barry V. Johnston's approaches are revealed, Lawrence T. Nichols, Vincent Jeffries, and Edward A. Tiriakian to cover the intellectual development, scientific creativity, and academic career of the Russian-American classic of sociological thought, their arguments are given in support of the relevance of Sorokin's ideas and the methodology of integralism for society and sociology of the XXI century.
