Abstract

Peculiarity of collective identity construction of women and men is analyzed as well as ways and stages of normative individual identity construction. Complex nature and multidimension ality of the bases of identity in the modern world are demonstrated. The criticism of normative identity in contemporary philosophy is considered and practical attempts of men and women to construct a new mosaic, floating or hybrid identity are described
