- Abstract
- This article is dedicated to the concept of Regiolect which differs from other present social forms of national Russian language in the following characteristics: an exceptional dynamics of its vocabulary; continuity; non-discreteness of its linguistic identity; specific social function. These characteristics define the individuality of regiolect’s lexical means. There is also a classification of regional words by six main categories in this article.
