Abstract
The work consisting of two articles (two parts), examines complicated and going deeper than surface creative links between the poetry of V.A. Zhukovsky and N.A. Nekrasov. The author shows that significant cultural, historical and artistic differences between the two classics of the Russian poetic art, which distance them from each other, do not eclipse poets' profound similarities in their treatment of poetic forms, nor break up the continuity of their choice of poetic subjects or of means to poeticize reality. Our study represents an attempt to comprehend the “non-linear” development of the Russian poetic tradition of the 19th century.
