- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the Russian collective numerals and their usage compared with the quantitative numerals. I present the Russian National Corpus statistics of use of the collective numeral troe (i.e. “threesome”) with different noun group units, and also the statistics of isolated uses of troe. The main point of interest in the article is to demonstrate the role of the anaphoric function for collective numeral usage.
