- Abstract
- The article is to show that the matter of the utmost importance in Rilke's lyrical poetry was always the thought of the essence of existence and the role of the mankind. Rilke's poetical metaphysics was the expression of a never ending reflection about the boundary between life and death, the language and the unspeakable, beauty and decay, the infinity of time and space in the face of brevity of our presence on the Earth.
