- Abstract
The article concerns itself with verbal communication patterns of the native Russian speakers who have found themselves in a foreign-language environment. Some regional specifics of such communication dependent upon verbal etiquette are analyzed here with reference to particular example: functioning of first names accompanied by patronymics in the Lithuanian-Russian exchange.
