- Abstract
At times it is diffi cult to defi ne the exact date of certain records in Dostoevsky's “notebooks”, unless there is some external evidence. The proposed method of comparative analysis of manuscript and ink spectrograms aids in solving this problem. The present article follows this method in order to date Dostoevsky's Siberian Notebook.
