- Abstract
- The article deals with aphorisms as manifestation of creative communicative behavior. Genre peculiarities of aphorisms by Stanislaw Jerzy Lec are discussed, among them positional refocusing, register downgrading, cliche destruction, syllogistical gap. Specific features of poetic reflection in aphoristic texts are commented upon including making a new symbolic image, constructing a contextual antithesis, regarding a situation from a philosophical and artistic point of view, simultaneous actualization of several meanings and using allusions which are important for the author.
