- Abstract
- After the first translations of the Korean poetry into Russian in the 1950s translators intensified their work especially in the 1970s. A. Akhmatova's translations were republished, Alexander Zhovtis continued to translate the Korean classic poetry. Their's works were represented the classical tradition in the translation of the poetry. But in the 1970s some young translators made an attempt to change this tradition and tried to translate Korean poems in the modernistic style.
